and rides for children and adults.

Plenty to do and entertain yourself when
you are not relaxing in the piece and serenity of the gardens
at Logis de Sainte Croix .
A suitable place for walking and long
rambles
You can enjoy a ramble in Forest of Lanouée, the second
largest forest in Brittany famous for hunting.
By foot, bike, on horse, follow the paths running alongside
the Oust Canal, a canal open to inland river tourism and a
little corner of paradise for anglers . It is possible to
hire canoes and motor boats, if you fancy a day out on the
water.
Strolling along the streets of Josselin,
you’ll discover many tourist attractions in this historic
town including the fantastic 12th Century turreted Chateau
overlooking the Oust River, the converted stables into a Doll’s
Museum, many 16th century half-timbered building and the gargoyled
Basilica Notre Dame du Roncier with its beautiful 15th and
16th century stained glass windows. The Basilica also contains
the tomb of Olivier de Clisson and Marguerite de Rohan . Between
April and October, one can climb at the top of the bell tower
to enjoy a fabulous view of the town .
Next to the gites, walk around the Sainte-Croix Chapel (1060)
where you will see 14th, 15th and 15th century houses, beautifully
restored.
There's so much to see and do in the town, it's easy to see
why Josselin has been awarded the status “Petite Cité
de Caractère”. Guided tours of the town are available
from the Tourist Information Office which is situated in one
of the half-timbered houses just outside the Chateau entrance.
